Automotive PVB
Clear Automotive PVB
Clear or Standard Automotive PVB is a clear, tough polymer film used as an interlayer in laminated glass. When two or more layers of glass are harmoniously bonded together with PVB under heat and pressure, it creates a strong, safety-conscious material. Many benefits are associated with the Clear PVB. These include excellent optical clarity, and high penetration resistance. It also offers UV protection that leads to blocking over 99% of harmful rays. These find applications in the factory windshields.
Green Tinted PVB
Green-tinted PVB is a variation of the standard clear PVB interlayer used in laminated glass. By incorporating green pigments into the PVB film, manufacturers can create a range of green hues that affect the overall appearance of the glass. These are used to reduce glare, increase, and enhance privacy, and elevate the aesthetic appeal. The Green-tinted PVB finds applications in the sunroofs or as a “shade band” at the top of windshields.
