Automotive PVB

Clear Automotive PVB

PVB stands for Polyvinyl Butyral. It’s a clear, tough polymer film used as an interlayer in laminated glass. When two or more layers of glass are bonded together with PVB under heat and pressure, it creates a strong, safety-conscious material.

Green Tinted PVB

Green-tinted PVB is a variation of the standard clear PVB interlayer used in laminated glass. By incorporating green pigments into the PVB film, manufacturers can create a range of green hues that affect the overall appearance of the glass.

Green Shade Band PVB

This refers to a specific type of laminated glass where a green-tinted PVB interlayer is used to create a shaded area within the glass itself. This is often used in automotive windshields to reduce glare.
